Job Description

Position summary ■ The Collections Administrator is a member of the on-site Williams Lea Tag team delivering exceptional customer service at our client locations.

Responsibilities include: negotiating payment arrangements with debtors on third party accounts.

Job duties (* denotes an “essential function”):

■ *Answer basic questions and inquiries for the designated person or team concerning their account, invoices, and monies owed

 ■ *Communicate with debtors by telephone and written correspondence to attempt to bring resolution to unpaid accounts.

 ■ *Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate account updates on computer files for each call made. Demonstrate effective skip tracing techniques by locating debtor home phone number, address, and/or place of employment and process accounts for legal action.

■ *Counsel delinquent account debtors to assist in finding funds to meet debt obligations.

 ■ Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement. Make recommendations to implement improved processes.

■ Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Job qualifications:

■ College degree or equivalent work experience preferred to demonstrate profiency in collections and Accounts Receivable related functions.

■ Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Package (i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access)

■ One year of similar work experience in a professional services firm.

■ Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

■ Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with National Collections Office (NCO)policies and procedures.

■ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

■ Customer service experience.

■ Previous collections experience preferred.
