Position summary

The Designer/Artworker is responsible for ensuring brand consistency whilt offering a fresh approach to design, artwork, and digital output for Tier 2 Design assignments. The designer’s responsibility is to provide effective visual solutions to client creative requests and creative projects

Job duties

·   Deliver the best branded solutions to the Client and market to support the business

·   Manage and deliver Client work correctly and in a timely manner

·   Pro-actively maximize the software and workflow tools to give the Client, end user, and/or print vendor an outstanding finished product

·   Understand the Clients products, branding, and markets

·   Contribute to the effective running and throughout of the design department

·   Understanding and application of Tag CMD and internal working processes

·   As a key member of the design and interactive team, strive to achieve client satisfaction in all you do

·   Verify resolution, size, and client approval

·   Verify output against brief

·   Work as part of a team including internal QC, etc.

·   Check files for content, color reproduction, obvious spelling, punctuation, and grammar

·   Mastery of Software:

–  Apple Mac OSX

–  Quark Express 7/8

–  Adobe Creative Suite

–  Tag (Client specific) server location, naming convention, setup and procedures

–  Tag CMD time and materials.

Job Requirements

Job qualifications

·   B.A. Degree in Digital Arts

·   3 to 5 years hands-on experience working in an artwork/ creative environment

·   Excellent technical knowledge across Print, Online Digital Media and Video Executions

·   Excellent design knowledge and application. Visual trouble shooting skills is a must

·   Ability to storyboard, comp visual ideas within the creative process

·   Strong understanding of prepress; color separation, trapping and front management essential

·   Experience and mastery of Apple Mac OSX, Adobe Creative Suite, Web applications

·   Self-reliance, consistency in attention to detail, collaboration and strong team building skills, tenacity, confidence, error detection, challenging approach and interpreting instructions with logical judgment

·   Will possess good decision making ability given his/her understanding and empathy with the print/ online/ digital environment

·   Ability to manage numerous tasks at once and deliver all effectively

·   Excellent eye for detail

·   Retention of work; understanding of client brand guidelines

·   High customer satisfaction scores

·   Recommending alternative design/media to increase marketing effectiveness

·   Ability to build and design collateral and make suggestions related to the collateral

·   Minimize reprocessing through internal errors

·   Minimize reprocessing through client errors

·   Understanding and application of Tag CMD and internal working processes.
